I’ve been going to Your Eyes Only for my microblading needs, and, so far, I’m loving the symmetrical and natural-looking results—none of that overdone stencil look.

The free consults are spot-on, especially when they’re done by Abi or Hannah. Based on my 3 visits, they properly assess faces, explain the options, and let clients know what suits them best. It’s also super chill and detailed, which I rock with.

Microblading isn’t the only highly-rated option too. Most interviewees rave about the studio’s lash lifts, waxing, and henna treatments.

If there’s a catch, I’d say it’s the lack of weekend openings. Personally, my weekdays are tight, so a Saturday or Sunday opening wouldn’t hurt.

Moreover, I’ve chatted with a few patrons who weren’t too stoked about the tattooing services, raising concerns over paying extra for post-care maintenance.

The good news is that their standard fees are in line with what you’d expect in Perth.

When we were pulling this list together, Benefit Cosmetics Crowbar kept popping up in convos. Clients say it’s pretty clean and relaxing—to the point that some doze off while getting their brows done.

The crew there gets tons of love as well, especially Alix, Sheridan, and Anna. Word is they’re gentle and steady in applying whatever procedure you’ve gone for.

Speaking of procedures, their service list is long, with about 10+ options on the go. Sure, most are on the exxy side, but the bundles can be a steal if you want a full treatment, like getting waxed and tinted at the same time.

The real snag is trying to lock in a spot. Ask any patrons, and they’d probably complain about the studio being fully booked often.

On the upside, it’s in Myers, a central location in downtown Perth. The brand is also established, having opened way back in 1976.

Holly Garvey has been a big name in the Perth beauty scene since 2012. After giving it a go myself, I can see why.

For starters, the modern studio passes the hygienic criterion while looking fab.

They don’t dabble with cheap products, either. Most treatments incorporate premium and tested brands like Thuya and Yumi.

Beyond that, the formulas here are cruelty-free and vegan. They’re even safe for post-chemo patients, which is a major perk.

I won’t sugarcoat it, though. The prices here can be too spendy.

On the upside, the results are spot-on. I, myself, got a brow lamination here, and my brows came out looking full and neat with zero stray hairs or angles. Most clients echo the same thing.

The consultation is pretty thorough, too. They took my history, goals, brow type, and budget into account, so every step was tailored to me.

Just a shame that the studio is closed on weekends.

Eyebrow Ink Styling is one to consider if you’re after eyebrow tattoos, no matter if it’s permanent or semi-permanent.

To start, their specialised procedures are a draw, especially since most competitors don’t offer such treatments. For example, there’s a less painful ‘nano brow’ treatment that works well for almost any skin type and is fantastic for those with sparse eyebrows.

Tattoo removals are also in the mix, with both saline and laser options. That means you can weigh your choices: Will you go for a gentler approach (saline) or the method that’s more effective for darker tats (laser)?

The best bit, though, is how long their results last. We’ve had clients tell us their semi-permanent tattoos have looked full and natural for over 2 years.

That said, some have raised concerns over the studio’s uninterested staff members. Also, their opening hours are the most limited here, only open for 4 days a week.

Zibaroo Beauty is another solid option for those in the market for brow tats. Being open since 2016 adds weight to that.

Much like the previous entry, this studio has treatments you won’t find at regular salons. Take their ‘powder brows’ option. It gives off a gradient and pixelated look that’s reported to last for 1–3 years.

Zibaroo’s pricing is its biggest win, though. A standard powder brow, for instance, could set you back way beyond $600, but here it’s only $590, and students even get exclusive discounts.

In addition, their specialists aren’t heavy-handed, with services often touted by clients as ‘pain-free.’ That includes non-tattooing procedures like threading.

Having said that, getting an appointment requires patience. The place is popular, so you have to book fast while also considering the Sunday closure.

‘I came here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with both my lash lift and eyebrow threading experience. I typically get both services done at home in the U.S. my technician was lovely and shaped my eyebrows well. I was most surprised by my lash lift. Though the experience itself wasn’t as fancy/comfortable as what I’m used to in the U.S. (ie, at Zibaroo I stayed in the same chair I was in for threading), the results were absolutely fantastic! I have super stubborn lashes that typically don’t hold a curl; that was not a problem here! I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Perth.’
