I’ve got to say, Granite Transformations really caught my eye due to the impressive range of products and services they provide. They’ve been around since 1996 and have built quite a reputation for their clever “Top that Fits on Top” installation method.

This approach allows them to place new countertops directly over your existing ones, which means less mess and no need for a complete tear-out. This also means they can finish countertop installations within a single day.

Plus, they also coordinate with plumbers and electricians, ensuring everything goes smoothly without you having to juggle multiple tradespeople.

As for their products, they provide countertops made from granite, marble, quartz, and even recycled glass. These products come with a nice 10-year warranty.

However, I did have some issues with their customer service. They took quite a while to respond to my enquiries, and I had to follow up multiple times.

They provide both natural stone, like marble and granite, and engineered stone, like Caesarstone and Essastone. All of their products come with a 10-year warranty.

Beyond their products, I also appreciate that they offer free in-house measuring and quoting services. They even leave a small gift as a token of appreciation if you hire them to install your kitchen countertop!

Moreover, they provide countertop maintenance and repair services if needed, which is really handy.

The only downside is that they only accept cash and direct bank transfer payments. You might want to look into other options if you prefer paying via credit card.

What makes them one of my top picks is their 10-year warranty on both their products and workmanship. Furthermore, they have advanced stone-cutting machines that can cut stone as thin as 20 mm, allowing for highly customised countertops.

Their free design and colour consultancy service is another big plus. It’s great to have professional advice to help you choose the perfect countertop for your kitchen. I know I’ll be taking advantage of this service for my own kitchen remodel.

On the downside, I’ve found that they can sometimes be unresponsive to enquiries, which can be a bit frustrating.

My only concern is their lack of a clear warranty policy, as having a guarantee for the quality of their products is important.

Their range includes countertops made from natural marble, granite, and engineered stone such as Caesarstone. If you’re on a budget, you can score a good deal by opting for their stone offcuts.

They also offer cutting, polishing, and installation services, which I think can be very useful for those who have a custom countertop design in mind.

Speaking of installation, I’m pleased that they have a 1-year warranty on workmanship. However, it’s worth noting that their products themselves don’t come with a warranty.

Another thing to keep in mind is that they require a 55% deposit before finalising any orders, which could be a downside for some.
