Pros
- 25 years of experience
- Can work on vintage motorcycles
- Sells genuine motorcycle parts
- Competitive prices
Cons
- Limited business hours
- Tends to get fully booked quickly
BM Bikes is a great repair shop for owners of BMW motorcycles. Its master mechanic has received training from BMW and has 25 years of experience repairing BMW motorcycles.
I had the chance to see them in action when I accompanied my best friend to their shop in Jandakot. His BMW R 25 is a very special motorcycle because he inherited it from his late father.
He was thankful that BM Bikes’ mechanics were able to fix his vintage motorcycle and make it roadworthy again.
My friend and I were also impressed that they have access to genuine motorcycle parts manufactured by BMW itself! Some of the parts that needed replacing are hard to come by these days because they are produced in limited quantities.
And you know what the best part is? The total repair cost was way lower than what we initially expected!
However, one thing that BM Bikes should really improve on is its availability. My friend had to schedule his appointment weeks in advance because this repair shop tends to get fully booked quickly.
I think the reason it’s so hard to schedule an appointment with them is their limited business hours. This shop is closed on weekends and Mondays.

Pros
- 25 years of experience
- Has worked on racing motorcycles
- Wide range of services
- Highly-knowledgeable and friendly mechanics
Cons
- Some cases of poor repair quality
- Unavailable on weekends
Pro Twin Australia is a great choice thanks to its wide range of motorcycle-related services. Some services they offer aside from repairs include engine rebuilding, dyno tuning, and more.
In my opinion, experience plays a big part in why they can offer a huge number of services. Pro Twin Australia has been servicing and repairing motorcycles in Perth for more than 25 years.
This repair shop has also worked on motorcycles used by racing legends like Malcolm Campbell and Troy Bayliss.
Many customers told me the mechanics and support staff of Pro Twin Australia were a pleasure to work with. The owner, Justin, was praised for his deep level of knowledge when it comes to motorcycles.
Some customers praised him for his professional attitude and friendly demeanour. One customer even received some helpful tips on how to keep his motorcycle healthy during long periods of driving.
However, not everyone had a happy experience with Pro Twin Australia. One customer was extremely upset when their motorcycle wouldn’t idle properly after being serviced here.
It’s also disappointing that this repair shop isn’t available on weekends unless you have a special appointment.

Pros
- More than 30 years of experience
- Competitive prices
- Friendly and approachable staff
- Offers loan motorcycles while they repair yours
Cons
- Website needs an improvement
- Slow service times
Motorcycle Masters is another motorcycle repair shop I highly recommend due to the experience of its mechanics. This shop was established in 1991 and has been servicing and repairing motorcycles for more than 30 years already.
Their two primary services are motorcycle servicing and inspection. Motorcycle Masters can help you know if your motorcycle is still roadworthy and repair it if it isn’t.
For me, it’s nice to know that they can also loan you a temporary motorcycle while you’re waiting for your own to be serviced. This is an extremely useful perk for those who use their motorcycles for their jobs and daily activities.
Another thing I love about Motorcycle Masters is its competitive prices. Many services and spare parts they offer are cheaper compared to other repair shops in Perth.
Many customers also praised their staff for their friendly and approachable attitude. One customer told me the staff treated them very well and were more than happy to answer all of their questions.
However, some customers were also critical of Motorcycle Masters. One customer was dissatisfied because they had to wait an entire day for a simple motorcycle inspection.
Although a minor concern, I also found their website a bit hard to use because some of its sections are broken or unusable. An example of this is their “Location” page, which couldn’t load their location on the map properly.

Pros
- Offers motorcycle taxi services
- More than 40 years of experience
- Has a huge list of spare parts available
- Competitive prices
Cons
- Issues with communication
- Limited business hours on certain days of the week
Two Wheel Wreckers is a reliable option for repairing your motorcycle thanks to its many years of experience in the industry. This shop was established in 1980 and has been repairing and dismantling motorcycles for more than 40 years.
Their repair services are quite varied. Aside from basic servicing, they also provide fork rebuilds, engine rebuilds, electrical repairs, and more.
My brother had an amazing experience with Two Wheel Wreckers when his motorcycle broke down in the middle of the road.
Their motorcycle taxi service picked up his motorcycle and delivered it to their repair shop for immediate repairs. My brother was very thankful they have this service because he avoided the hassle of having to ask a friend for help.
He told me the mechanics of Two Wheel Wreckers were quick and efficient in repairing his motorcycle. His mechanic was able to finish the job quickly because they were fully stocked with different kinds of spare parts.
Within a few hours, my brother was back on the road again.
I was also surprised to find out that his total repair bill was far cheaper than what I expected based on the extent of repairs they’ve done.
Overall, I believe that Two Wheel Wreckers is certainly one of the best choices when it comes to motorcycle servicing and repairs.
However, I should warn you that some customers found it difficult to contact this repair shop over the phone or by email.
Another downside to Two Wheel Wreckers is its limited business hours on certain days of the week. The owners have stated that this is because they need to allocate a few hours on Wednesday and Friday to pick up their kids from school.

Pros
- 41 years of experience
- Gets its spare parts from reputable manufacturers
- Has a wide range of services
- Highly-accessible location
Cons
- Above-average prices
- Reports of rude behaviour from staff
Bike Tyre City, also known as The Bike Doctor, is a solid choice when it comes to motorcycle repairs and tuneups. In my opinion, the experience of its mechanics is almost unquestionable, thanks to their 41 years of experience in the industry.
The best thing I can say about this repair shop is its accessibility. Being in North Perth makes visiting Bike Tyre City easy because they are only a few kilometres away from the Perth CBD.
It’s also impressive that they offer a wide range of services when it comes to motorcycles. Aside from repairs, they also provide tuneups, wheel balancing, engine rebuilds, and more.
They also source their spare parts from reputable manufacturers, which is why I believe you can fully trust them with your motorcycle. Some manufacturers they work with include Ducati, MV Agusta, Suzuki, and more.
However, I should warn you that they charge higher rates for their excellent services. A sizable portion of their customers think their prices are too expensive compared to most repair shops in Perth.
Some customers also had a bad experience with Bike Tyre City’s customer service. One customer told me that the staff member they talked to over the phone was rude after they asked a couple of simple questions.
