Outdoor Elegance has showrooms in Perth, Sydney, and 7 other major Australian cities, so they’re doing something right. As a patron, though, I know their perks extend beyond that.

For starters, their range is hefty. There are outdoor lounges, outdoor bar fixtures, fire pits, and all the bits and bobs (umbrellas, covers, etc.) to further jazz and protect your setup.

However, prices lean on the ‘not-cheap’ side. The gear holds up, though. So far, the table I copped from them has survived two Perth summers.

I also like that you’re not stuck with pre-made pairings or sets. You can buy pieces separately for a more personalised setup.

Moreover, the 30-day return policy is ace if you realise you’ve stuffed your measurements. Happened to me before.

The letdown is their online stock system; sometimes, it says things are available when they’re not. That’s a true stitch-up if you like checking things online before heading to the physical store.

The standout feature here is their fully customisable Fermob colour collection. You get over 20 shades to pick from, including willow green and nutmeg, and the selection just looks chic.

There’s also rarely any pushy sales talk from the staff, particularly if you deal with Megan. Only superb product knowledge and tips on pairing or personalisation are usually brought up.

As for the stocks, they tick the usuals, primarily tables and chairs. The bonus is they do outdoor lighting as well.

The shop is shut on Sundays, though. Most goods are also pricey, given they carry high-end names like Vincent Sheppard and Fermob.

On the upside, delivery is generally on time, around 1–3 days or a week after you order. Plus, we’re fans of the early access to new releases and discounts that regulars get.

Cosh Living is a ripper bet if you’re after stylish, high-quality furniture. They stock loads of primo Australian and international brands, so you get classy fixings—tables, chairs, bar gear, and even sculpture.

They’re also fantastic if you prefer modern and eco-friendly gear. Think furniture with neutral colours, clean lines, and durable materials like timber and metal.

On top of that, they sell care products, mostly protectors and cleaners that can handle various surfaces or materials.

That said, prepare your purse; fancy brands come with fancy fees. The silver lining here is that picks like Atelier Vierkant have furniture built to last and look the part.

Customers also get tons of sweet benefits. Some bonuses we totally love are the seasonal sales, upholstery services, and free consultations. The latter is especially beneficial to shoppers who need advice on material and style.

Shopping at WG Outdoor is often a pretty smooth experience.

For one, their Perth showroom is 1,000 sqm. That means you can see the whole setup rather than individual pieces, making it easier to plan your own space.

The highlight is that they sell statement water features; most names here don’t. It’s nice to have that option, as a stone fountain can really take your space up a notch.

WG Outdoor also doesn’t stick to one style. Their furniture and accessories are creatively varied, some rustic and modern, some classical and commercial.

Same thing is true about their materials—teak, ecolene, and lightweight concrete are just a few options the shop incorporates.

However, interviewees have raised concerns over dismissive and rude staff members. Also, they close doors on Sundays.

Still, this shop is a savvy choice, mainly if you’re a clearance hunter like us. In fact, we once scored an 80% discount on a pot here.

‘We purchased two amazing water features from WG Outdoor for our new home. All staff (special mention to Alistair) were extremely helpful in guiding us through the right choice and selections. As the wind from our coastal location was a potential problem this was an important consideration as was the choice of water reservoir. I initially was going to install these myself however WG Outdoor again had this covered and it was very seamless in having these delivered and installed for us on site at a very affordable price.

Because we had specific tastes the only minor issue was the wait of around 5 months as our items were not currently in stock….. but it was worth it to get what best suited our outdoor spaces.

We can’t overlook the fact that Oasis Outdoor Living has been selling furniture since 1990. That said, experience isn’t the only reason they’re here; the store also has niche offerings that competitors don’t provide.

For instance, they’re the only shop on this list with outdoor heating solutions. If you need solar lanterns or heaters, that’s grand.

Second, their staff is attentive and offers post-sale support, particularly installation guides over the phone.

Oasis also has an extensive selection of alfresco kitchen equipment, fit for those who host parties under the Aussie sun. Sample products are fridges and BBQs built to withstand Perth’s elements.

Speaking of BBQs, they have a vast catalogue—gas, electric, charcoal, you name it.

Of course, nothing is perfect. The prices aren’t exactly for penny-pinchers, and in case you change your mind on a purchase, full refunds aren’t a thing. You can, however, get store credits.
