Another roofing company that offers a diverse range of services is WA Roof Services, based in Maddington. They do roofing projects for residential and commercial clients.

Aside from the usual stuff like roof replacement, re-roofing, and roof repairs and maintenance, their team can also install commercial skylights, ventilation systems, and roof access systems.

However, one thing I’m surprised with is that they also offer asbestos roof removal services! Considering how dangerous and difficult it is to remove this stuff, it’s honestly quite unusual to see them offer a service like this.

As for warranties, I’m happy to report that they have a two-year warranty for their services.

However, it’s a bit annoying that they ask for a steep 40% deposit before they begin working on a roofing project.

Here’s the real kicker, though: they can also do chimney removal and repairs! That’s honestly amazing, as chimneys can also become a cause of roof leaks if they aren’t maintained properly.

Sadly, it seems their services are always in high demand, and they have a tendency to be fully booked on most days.

“We’ll be using Jim for all our future roofing needs. Jim completed a job for us a year ago (at ~25% of what was quoted by two other companies). Given our leak only presented during heavy rains, he said to let him know if there were any further issues. A few weeks back I reached out to Jim to inform him the leak had significantly improved during heavy rains but had not been completely eliminated. He didn’t hesitate to honor his original commitment, but came out to repair the residual issues the very next day (a Saturday) and didn’t charge for the hour of his time. Our roof is now waterproof. Of course, the list of services they offer is quite lengthy, as they do roof installations, repairs, plumbing, and ventilation system installation. 

Beyond the usual stuff, they can also offer unique services like fibreglass sheeting installation and the application of Bradford Anticon Insulation, which is designed to enhance a metal roof’s insulation and soundproofing qualities. These services have a seven-year warranty.

Another thing I’d like to point out is that they have a dedicated inspection team that can provide height safety recertifications and free roof inspections.

However, it’s a bit unfortunate that their services are unavailable on weekends, forcing most customers to set aside a working day for their appointments.
