HEAD2SOLE is my favourite shoe store for sneakers in Perth. It’s got an impressive collection of shoes made by some of my favourite brands, like Nike and Air Jordan. 

A lot of their sneakers are designed for both men and women.

This shoe store isn’t only a seller of sneakers but apparel as well. They seem to target the younger crowd with some of the brands they carry, like Supreme, Kaws, and Mr Winston.

I’d say the biggest strength of HEAD2SOLE is its ability to always get the latest limited-edition sneakers. If you’re someone who’s a fan of these sneakers, then this is a great place for you.

Buying from this store is also not a hassle. They support a lot of payment options, including major credit cards and newer online payment services like Klarna and LayBuy.

Another thing I like about this shoe store is the good customer service. Most of the staff here is approachable and friendly towards both new and returning customers. Clyde, in particular, is an awesome dude to talk to and is always willing to help.

However, I’m not going to sugarcoat the fact that a lot of the sneakers they sell at HEAD2SOLE are quite expensive. The prices in this store tend to be higher compared to other stores in the city.

Another thing some customers don’t like about HEAD2SOLE is its poor response rate to emails.

One customer told me that their request for an order cancellation was ignored. The product was still delivered to their address, much to their annoyance.

Bstore is another shoe store in Perth I highly recommend if product variety is your main concern. This store offers a wide range of shoes for both men and women. 

Some of their products are tailored to specific needs and occupations as well.

For different uses, they have casual, office, wedding, and dress shoes. Bstore even has special shoes for those working in the healthcare and hospitality industries.

If you’re someone who’s environmentally conscious, then you can check out their vegan shoes too. These shoes are made of plant fibre rather than animal leather.

A great thing about Bstore is that their stores aren’t hard to find. They already have eight branches spread throughout Perth. 

A lot of their branches always have sales going on, so getting a pair of shoes isn’t going to cost you too much.

I love that Bstore doesn’t have strict refund policies. One of my friends was able to get her money back easily when she found out the shoes she bought online were too big for her feet.

Through a service called Refundid, the money was sent to her immediately before she was even able to ship the shoes back to Bstore.

However, a downside to Bstore is its customer service, specifically at Hay Street Mall.

Some customers shared with me that while the staff in the store itself were nice people, the manager was rude to people who wanted to bring up a concern.

The store is also criticised for its poor response rate to inquiries. One customer told me that their request for a shoe repair went unnoticed for almost three months before someone acknowledged their request.

The Athlete’s Foot is what I consider a one-stop shop for my fitness wear and sportswear needs. They have lots of shoes tailor-made for sports like tennis and football.

A great thing about this shoe store is the options it can provide to its customers. They have popular shoe brands like Merrell and Nike, but they also have a wide selection of newer brands.

However, what I particularly love about The Athlete’s Foot is its loyalty program. Long-time customers have perks like priority access, free shoe waterproofing, and discount vouchers.

I’m also impressed with their high-tech fitting service. I tried it once when I was buying a pair of tennis shoes, and it was a unique experience, to say the least.

The Athlete’s Foot Fitting Service uses 3D scanning technology to accurately get the measurements of your feet. The data they get from the scan will be used to get you the best-fitting shoes for your feet.

This is a great idea, especially since shoes that really fit are essential if you want to improve your game.

However, a downside to The Athlete’s Foot is its price. A lot of their shoes are more expensive compared to those sold in other stores.

Another problem with this shoe store is its customer service. Some customers told me that some of the staff were rude and unwilling to help them with their inquiries.

Famous Footwear is a shoe store that a lot of my female friends love to visit for their casual and office shoe needs. This store is a great pick for women’s shoes thanks to its huge selection of products sold at competitive prices.

A lot of their shoes are suitable for both casual and professional settings. A lot of their products came from popular shoe brands like Pied a Terre, Naughty Monkey, and London Rebel.

A big reason why Famous Footwear is so popular is its prices. Some of my friends shared with me that they can get quality shoes from this store at prices as low as $20.

They also told me that the customer service here is great. One of my friends told me that she was given a warm welcome the moment she entered the store. 

The staff even offered to give her some advice on what shoes she should wear for her job interview.

Famous Footwear is easily accessible thanks to its multiple stores across Perth. It has four stores, which you’ll find at Cannington, Whitford, Redcliffe, and the Perth CBD.

However, a downside to Famous Footwear is that it exclusively sells women’s shoes. Some customers I talked to have also told me that all the shoes in the store are up to size 9 only.

Aquila is a solid choice for me whenever I’m in need of some shoes for formal occasions. It’s got a great selection of men’s loafers, dress shoes, sneakers, and more.

The thing I like most about this store is its awesome staff. Not once in my visits have I ever received a dismissive remark from them.

Even if I’m only there for some window shopping, they always greet me with smiles as soon as I enter the store.

To encourage repeat customers, Aquila has launched its own membership program called Aquila+. Members are entitled to a special 25% discount if they buy two pairs of shoes in a single transaction.

Members can also enjoy a good 30% discount on all shoe care products they sell in their store. All you need to do to become a member is provide your email address to one of their staff members or make an account on their online store.

However, a downside to Aquila is that it only sells shoes for men.

Another problem I have with them is their inconsistent product quality. 

Some customers shared with me that the shoes they bought from Aquila fell apart just after a few weeks of use.

It’s somewhat good, then, that this store has a fast refund process. Aquila will send your payment back through Refundid within 60 seconds if the shoes you bought have defects or broke down within the refund period.
