Escape Rooms Available at Lost Reality Cannington

The Jungle

For those who prefer a more laid-back escape room experience, I can definitely recommend The Jungle. It’s of moderate difficulty and only needs anywhere between two to six players to complete.

Personally, I prefer going for their more intense escape rooms, but I often book a session here whenever I accompany someone who hasn’t been to one before.

This room transports you into a jungle teeming with realistic-looking props that mimic lush vegetation and wildlife. Its sounds make you feel like you’re in the movie Jumanji!

Sinister Circus

Of course, it’s no surprise that they have horror-themed escape rooms too! Enter the Sinister Circus, a place where visitors are rumoured to go missing whenever the show reaches its terrifying conclusion.

This is one of their harder escape rooms with puzzles that can take up to eight players to complete within the time limit. It’s still doable with fewer players, but you’ll need to pick up the pace since puzzles are a lot harder here.

It sells its horror elements well with its enclosed spaces and an intense atmosphere, but, to be honest, its tricks are something I’m already used to.

Experiment X

Now this one really caught my eye, since it has a very interesting story. Our next escape room, Experiment X, is a science thriller where you’re chosen to create a life-saving cure that can also prolong the lives of those afflicted with the disease.

However, not everything is quite simple. Along your quest to discover the cure, you’ll also encounter the shady past of the pharmaceutical company that hired you.

When my friends and I tried it out, we found it wasn’t as hard as the Sinister Circus, but it wasn’t a walk in the park. Make sure to bring six players along.

Sherlock Holmes: London is Falling

For the fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous character, this one’s for you! In this room, you’ll receive a letter from none other than Professor Moriarty, Holmes’ archnemesis, and you’re suddenly thrown into a high-stakes mission to thwart his evil plan.

This is definitely one of Lost Reality’s more challenging escape rooms, designed for those whose intellect can rival that of Sherlock Holmes. With a completion rate of only 40%, it truly puts your problem-solving skills to the test.

I’ll admit, we didn’t manage to beat it ourselves. The puzzles are so well-designed that it almost took us half an hour just to complete the first ones. Before we knew it, we ran out of time.

The Witch’s Potion

Another challenging escape room you can try in their Cannington branch is The Witch’s Potion. This is for the fantasy fans, as it features a story that’s all about saving a king with a potion from the witch’s lair.

It’s one of my favourites! I won’t spoil it, but tinkering around the witch’s lair and using the clues scattered around to find the right potion was thrilling.

Since this one lacks horror elements, it’s an escape room I can recommend for the whole family. It’s also quite generous with its time limit, so the kids can definitely contribute to solving the case without being under intense pressure.

Escape Rooms Available at Lost Reality Victoria Park

Terminal Crisis

Now, let’s head over to their Victoria Park branch, where more challenges await! This time we have Terminal Crisis, a thrilling escape room where you and your team must stop a train taken over by terrorists from crashing into the city.

This is definitely a must-try for all those who want to get their adrenaline pumping. Speed is the name of the game here, since you only have an hour to solve all the puzzles and find the switch that can halt the train.

In my experience, this escape room is thrilling yet not overly difficult, even for beginners. I even peeked at the leaderboard and saw a team that managed to solve it in under 15 minutes! So, it’s a perfect blend of excitement and accessibility.

Special Ops: Tokyo

If you want to experience how Ethan Hunt or James Bond saves the day, check out Special Ops: Tokyo. This spy-thriller escape room gives you the task of locating and securing a bioweapon hidden in Tokyo before it detonates.

To be honest, I was completely wowed with this one. The story is quite different from the usual, and this challenge features deadly traps and puzzles that require a lot of strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

But don’t worry because this room isn’t as hard as Sherlock Holmes: London is Falling. According to its leaderboard as of 2025, some teams were able to finish this one in under 30 minutes.

Mystical Manor

Mystical Manor is another great escape room for those who love a bit of magic and mystery. In this adventure, you and your team must undo enchantments and recover powerful artefacts hidden within this mysterious manor.

Its difficulty ranges from medium to hard, making it a nice challenge for most players.

The theme and story they offer here are already featured in many other escape rooms, but Mystical Manor can still be a treat for beginners.

Dead or Alive

Another classic escape room experience you can try is Dead or Alive. In this room, you and your team must solve puzzles to escape the room before the killer catches you. It’s a familiar storyline, but the execution is top-notch.

Even as an escape room veteran, I must admit that I’m amazed with this one. The atmosphere here is very eerie, and the puzzles are designed to keep the players on edge at all times.

It’ll throw you some jumpscares and spooky events. If you’re a fan of the classic haunted houses featured in amusement parks, this one’s for you!
