First of all, we like that they provide a variety of storage unit sizes. This ranges from modest traveller-sized storage lockers to a 94-cubic-metre (3.0 x 10.5-metre) unit that can accommodate a boat, an RV, or a trailer.

For us, their 1-month minimum lease also seems excellent if you only need a temporary storage unit. Yet the drawback with this is that they don’t offer annual plans, so you’ll have to continue paying monthly.

If it’s any consolation, their clients told us that they felt their money was well spent because they had good customer service. Plus, they had free access to the office’s amenities, which include Wi-Fi and coffee.

Not only that, but we also appreciate that clients may use their trailer, forklift, and vehicle. Still, remember to operate the forklift within their facility. 

Though their facilities are constantly under observation and video surveillance, note that they don’t have a security staff on duty at all times.

In our opinion, security staff are essential for storing valuables of any kind. This is despite the fact that there have been no instances of misplaced items with them that we’ve heard of.

It’s impressive to us that they offer everything from little storage lockers to 60-square-metre spaces – which are big enough to store boats and heavy automobiles!

There are no minimum or maximum storage requirements either, which is another feature we enjoy about their services. 

The facilities’ excellent upkeep, cleanliness, and pest-free status were also mentioned to us by a few previous clients. We believe this is very important to prevent ruining your possessions.

But though we find their online size guide useful with its diagrams, note that the unit sizes they provide are only estimates, and actual measurements may still differ. 

Therefore, we advise that you pay them a personal visit so that you can inspect the units for yourself.

Moreover, we like that walk-ins are welcome, so clients can drop by if they make a sudden decision to go without an appointment.

They provide access to current clients at all times too, but only upon request. If you didn’t let them know beforehand, we think your best bet is to enter your unit during business hours.

Also, it’s a bit of an issue for us that Catts Self Storage doesn’t provide trucks or equipment for rental. Because of this, you’ll still need to handle the moving process on your own.

They have numerous small, medium, and large self-storage facilities too! It can be challenging to determine the size you need, but we think their online sizing guide is reliable enough to assist you.

But if you need more help, we recommend paying them a visit. Their staff can show you some available units to estimate the storage size you’ll need.

Additionally, we love that they have forklifts and drivers on hand to help with big and heavy items to help move your belongings in.

Nonetheless, we heard of some reports that their staff may not always be readily available to assist on site. So, we believe it’s an advantage to still make an appointment early on to be prioritised.

Also, keep in mind that National Storage doesn’t give 24-hour access. Should you need to get your things, you can only pick them up from 7 am to 7 pm every day.

Their services seem ideal when you’re moving or remodelling, in our opinion. These situations only require a temporary storage facility for your belongings anyway.

We also like that clients may use their move-in vehicle for efficiency. This way, you won’t need a separate truck. 

This has some limits, though. You may use their vehicles if your neighbourhood is on their list of accessible suburbs.

Clients may enter their storage unit at any time too. Yet we advise against doing so because, without the staff, it’s possible for clients to get locked inside – we think it’s best not to take any chances!

Note that they also don’t have a security guard on duty round-the-clock. Their alternative for this is that all individual units have security alarms, and there are electronic entry gates.

Overall, this facility looks good for storing records, furniture, and the like, but not expensive valuables, in our opinion. 

Though we haven’t heard of any cases of misplaced property with Welshpool Self Storage, their lack of 24-hour security staff makes us feel a bit iffy.

Though they’re a small, family-run company, we believe Osborne Park Self-Storage’s containers in Perth are a good option for both residential and commercial clients. 

We think they’re best suited if you require a storage unit to keep inventory for a business. For example, you may store furniture or lots of paperwork. 

Food and drinks can be brought in too! However, this is only for those who don’t need climate-controlled storage, which this facility sadly doesn’t provide.

We find their affordable charges handy as well! Clients may enter their unit whenever they want, and you can set up for people to have access rights too!

The fact that they provide moving and packing materials on site, albeit at a cost, is something we also appreciate. 

Of course, it would be cheaper to bring your own packing supplies. But if you forget or run out, we’re glad that they’ve got you covered.

Just note that their maximum unit size is 2.8 m x 2.3 m, and they don’t currently provide units large enough to store vehicles or warehouses.

And though it’s preferable to make an appointment before visiting, a few clients we talked to shared their concerns about Osborne Park Self-Storage’s responsiveness to enquiries. 

It’s best to send them a follow-up message to help their few staff accommodate your needs as soon as possible.
